1. What are your services like?
You’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music. A message with notes on a large-screen PowerPoint presentation to help you make the most of the practical, relevant, and at times humorous, message. Children are well-cared for in a loving nursery and fun-filled Super Kid Academy service.
2. What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you or have you stand up. We know that many people want to check us out and that’s cool with us! Come on in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and see if this is the church for you.
3. What do I wear to attend your services?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our services. Come in what is comfortable for you because ECC is not about what you look like or what you wear. It’s about who you are in Christ.
4. Where are you located?
Our Church is located right off of HWY 24/27 at Red Cross, accross from West Stanly Hight School and right beside, Dollar General.

5. What about my children?
At ECC your children are a priority. We want your children to be learning and growing in God right along with you. Our nursery is staffed with loving workers who will care for your children. We offer a dynamic kid’s ministry at each service.
6. How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending one of our monthly fellowships on the calendar. Growth Groups are another great way to connect. In each Growth Group, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.
7. How can I be discipled and grow?
Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. From the initial decision to accept Jesus as your Lord to your involvement in life-changing ministry, we will lead you step-by-step into the place God has purposed you to be. You can begin the process by getting our Partnership 101 packet, available at the visitor’s reception.
8. Why do you have Growth Groups?
Growth Groups are an important part of ECC Locust; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our Growth Groups. Growth Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God.
9. How can I get involved in a Growth Group?
One of the easiest things to do at ECC is to participate in a Growth Group. Growth Groups meet in Church or in homes and provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Check out our online calendar and get connected.
